role is responsible leading the effort to gather, analyze and document
requirements in support of business cases, proposed projects, and
system/business requirements. This role works with stakeholders within the company (end
users, managers, developers, and executives) as well as business interest
external to the company by effectively discerning and analyzing the true needs
of stakeholders for both programs and projects originating from multiple areas
of the company.  Principal Duties and Responsibilities·       
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate
business and functional requirements.·       
Actively engage stakeholders in defining
requirements; understand the commonly used techniques to elicit requirements;
select appropriate technique(s) for a given situation; prepare, execute and
complete each technique used.·       
Develop analysis strategies for Medium to
Large projects.·       
Collaborate with subject matter experts
through facilitation to identify solution options to examine their feasibility.·       
Assist technology team with detailed
design work; review technical design deliverables; resolve problems,
adjustments to new procedures; ensure that the production rollout of any change
is completed as smoothly as possible; manage change requests including new
requirements, next phase issues, and any other post-implementation support.·       
Participate in design walkthroughs and provide
support and response to questions from members of the team.·       
Develop process and work flow models.·       
Revise requirements , business rules and
obtain customer sign-off as needed·       
Analyze impacts to software applications
throughout all phases of projects.·       
Ensure that validated deliverables meet
functional and design specifications and requirements.·       
Identify, track, monitor and communicate
project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may
arise during the implementation of projects.·       
Identify test requirements from specifications, assisting in
testing as needed. ·

Strong knowledge of Health Care
and Insurance Plan domains.·       
Strong technical analysis
skills,  e.g. SQL, SDLC,  development methodologies.·       
Seeks and provides learning
opportunities for honing BA skills, modeling self after experts and continuous
improvement through industry best practice research. ·       
Strong knowledge of Microsoft
applications, including Excel and Visio.·       
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse
group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.·       
Adept at conducting research into
project-related issues and products.·       
Ability to effectively prioritize
and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.·       
Works independently and in a team

Education and Experience

·       
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.

·       
5 or more years of experience in business process analysis or IT
data analysis experience.

·       
3-5 years of experience documenting functional, high-level
business requirements within a professional business environment.

·       
3 -5 years of experience with process improvement, workflow,
benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required.

·       
3-5 years of experience leading and/or facilitating a requirements
gathering session.

·       
Experience working in all phases of the SDLC.



Licensure/certification requirements

·       
Possess or be working toward
