The role of the business analyst is to help business implement technical solutions. This role is to understand the business problem, document the problem for the technical team and communicate with the business the possible technical solutions to the problem and lead them to the most effective solution. The business analyst is primary liaison between the business team and the BT technical teams. They help with the discovery and documentation of the stated business case. This enables the technical resources to focus their effort in design and build phase.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and business analysts to understand business challenges and opportunities in order to provide architectural direction for our systems applications.
Iteratively share development effort updates and product examples to subject matter experts, business analysts and development team members always keeping continuous improvement and iterative development in mind
Develop or modify, and communicate technical approaches to solve complex problems considering systems capabilities and form of desired results
Prepare detailed user stories (requirements) with clear business value and acceptance criteria statements that are immediately actionable by the development team
Assist in researching technical solutions and composing high-level and detailed design specifications
Assist with the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Articles or any other documentation that is necessary to support our products.
Approach analysis activity with both client needs and Braun Strategic Objectives in mind
Participate in defining and implementing best practices for business analysis
Excellent customer service and independent time management skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures and user manuals
Ability to write understandable documentation
Ability to deliver oral presentations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to quickly learn and apply business software to business procedures and processes
