Position Summary Responsible for providing broad-based analysis for consumer loan sales and the securitization funding platform of the Bank, with particular emphasis on sourcing, transformation, quality review and analysis of complex and large datasets from various sources. Performs statistical analyses, cash flow modeling and cost-benefit analyses focused on credit performance and fixed income products. Assists transaction execution, ongoing transaction monitoring and reporting, transaction clean-up and termination, all while adhering to regulatory and legal requirements. Essential Job Functions 1. Develop and improve upon data extraction processes and analytical tools that support loan sale and securitization transactions 2. Conduct data sourcing, validation and quality control initiatives that support the strategy of the team, including by communicating with internal and external parties responsible for source data creation\/management; finds solutions to bridge potential gaps 3. Partner with business line to understand data, lending products and lending processes to ensure correct interpretation and use of data 4. Contribute to the generation of loan performance and cash flow modeling assumptions based on historical data 5. Perform complex and extensive analyses and structuring work supporting new transactions, including but not limited to identifying optimal transaction structure considering profitability, liquidity and capital management objectives, determining the loan pool to sell\/securitize, preparing and reviewing legal documentation with internal and external counsel, facilitating rating analyses and justifying assumptions used, ensuring due diligence and agreed-upon procedure reviews are successful, marketing and closing activities 6. Develop and maintain written policies, procedures and technical documentation applicable to Bank\u2019s securitization and loan sale activities 7. Create and polish presentation materials that are used for external parties or decision-making by senior executives. Automate generation of materials where appropriate. 8. Backup and support ongoing investor and management reporting, including troubleshooting investor reporting and accounting systems, as may be necessary 9. Ensure compliance with Bank audit, regulatory, security and risk standards, policies and procedures 10. May assist research on relevant business and regulatory developments in the securitization and\/or banking industries 11. Interact with risk management, underwriting, operations, servicing, collections, accounting, legal, compliance and other related Bank teams regarding business operations and their relationship with securitization and loan sales 12. Bachelor\u2019s Degree, Master\u2019s Degree preferred, CFA a plus Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
