Capital Group's Marketing team is working on exciting opportunities supporting a broad range of audiences across all digital channels. Reaching our customers through compelling digital solutions is imperative for serving their needs. The Brand Experience Operations Specialist based in our Los Angeles office will be a key member of the Creative team that drives program/project delivery, operational effectiveness, and connectivity within the team and with internal and external partners to ensure timelines and business objectives are met with the highest quality across all engagements. This role assumes responsibility managing key internal processes and ensuring they are efficiently and effectively executed.
The Brand Experience Operations Specialist balances operations and management. Much like a symphony conductor, this role is highly creative and passionate, detail-oriented, acutely aware of movements within their orchestra and an integral part in the creation of inspiring experiences and designs.
All functions of program and accounts management for the team are in scope including, but not limited to planning, program/engagement setup, and program optimization in order to enable the achievement of marketing goals. S/he is also responsible for driving the operational and workflow activities of the department, and maintaining support of external partnerships on a day-to-day basis in order to achieve overall company revenue goals.
Drives our operational strategy and owns/evolves a holistic process; seek out ways to improve process and capabilities of a multi-discipline team Cascades information on all aspects of the operation of and process of marketing’s creative department to cross-functional leadership as needed, including but not limited to updates on process, partner projects, trouble-shooting, trafficking, and relevant certifications.
Manages the day-to-day engagement with outside partners as the point person coordinating deliverables, communications and timelines
Leads internally focused team projects with occasional management of projects that have an external focus. Supports operational effectiveness of our internal processes related to headcount allocation, budgeting and forecasting
Tracks project work streams ranging from small to complex projects
Serves as point of escalation for inquiries and issues impacting program success, and lead troubleshooting cross-functionally to ensure resolution and risk mitigation.
Manages the collaboration systems such as the team SharePoint site, Trello, etc.
Coordinates with ongoing functions of creative teams in their ownership and execution of marketing collateral in all mediums: digital, events and print.
Keeps the pulse of the team culture and play the role of organizing team wide meetings, team off-sites, etc.
4 years of experience in a project management
Experience in leading internal communication initiatives including campaigns and events is a plus
Ability to work closely with a diverse team of leaders to understand needs, priorities and strategies
Strong track record of analyzing data for trends and insights to resolve business problems
Strong communication with internal leaders/associates and external partners
Able influence others across the organization
4 year degree required; advanced degree (MBA or other) a plus
Strong presentation skills; including presenting to executives
Ability to effectively position ideas through persuasion and influencing
