Summary The Role of Business Analyst, Sr is to provide operational expertise in order to document the needs of the business and translate these needs into technical specifications or other documentation. These specifications are then used to build out new capabilities on ACH and Pep Platforms. The individual should be results oriented, responsive to change, collaborative, and passionate about delivering business value in a timely manner. Job Responsibilities: Formulates and defines system scope and objectives Provides analysis of business and user needs, documents requirements and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary May perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) Interfaces with internal and external clients and may participate in product demos. Identify opportunities for process improvement. Develop ACH training materials and facilitate training sessions Assists Product Managers with Voice of the Client \/ Business analysis Guides and advises less experienced business systems analysts Requirements: \u2022 5-7 years working in the Financial Services Industy with significant exposure to ACH and PEP operations. \u2022 Strong working knowledge of ACH processing application(s), with detailed understanding of NACHA rules and regulations and PEP experience. \u2022 Experience with business analysis within an agile team\/organization. \u2022 Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). \u2022 Understanding of Business Process, Six Sigma & Risk Management \u2022 Competent to work in systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. \u2022 Understanding of the concepts surrounding the software development life cycle (RUP or CMM). \u2022 Ability to assist in functional testing and support of products already in production \u2022 Understand the value-added proposition of their respective project \u2022 Strong Project Management Skills with experience in managing deliverables and aggressive schedules. \u2022 Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills \u2022 Understanding of both mainframe and client-server technologies \u2022 Electronic payments processing knowledge and experience, specifically Wires and SWIFT \u2022 Good written and verbal communication skills as well as negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications: \u2022 ACH AAP Certification \u2022 Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
