Come and experience your future!Business Development Analyst Sr. Staff position within the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS) line of business. Primary job focus will be radar opportunities for new radar development as well as major upgrades to existing radar systems (U.S./Foreign, domestic/international, FMS/DCS). Key mission areas include Air & Missile Defense, Air/Ground Based Surveillance. Customer set includes the Air Force, and foreign military/defense agencies.Responsibilities include leadership role in:• Identification, qualification and capture of various radar opportunities consistent with overall RMS IWSS strategy.• Serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries, general correspondence, request for data and other business transactions and interface with customers to shape their opportunities, taking into account requirements, existing capabilities and funding availability.• Leading or assisting in the response to customer Requests for Information (RFIs) and formal proposals.• Development and maintenance of productive business relationships with customer organizations (primarily US/Foreign DoDs), team mates and partner companies and suppliers.• Coordination with Program Management teams to formulate plans for new product offerings to satisfy emerging customer requirements.• Development of budgets and management of new business acquisition expenses.• Preparation and presentation of market opportunities and strategy briefings to internal stakeholders.• Coordination with appropriate U.S./Foreign Government offices to garner and sustain their support and to ascertain current status of procurement initiatives within the U.S./Foreign Government.• Coordination with appropriate internal Business Area andInternational Business Development organizations (RMS BD, LMI, LMA, etc.) to garner and sustain support, coordinate and support customer/country strategies, and to ascertain current status of procurement initiatives.• Business conduct in strict compliance with all company policies and procedures and within applicable state, federal and international regulations.This position is located in Syracuse, NY. and will require extensive travel, international and/or domestic.Selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.Desired Skills: • Experience in U.S./foreign DOD, and/or major systemacquisition processes.• Expertise in Air/Ground Defense/Surveillance,Radar Technology, SHORAD, or Early Warning mission areas.• Demonstrated leadership role in a major capture effort, such as capture lead.• Technical knowledge of, or experience with, radar systems.• Degree in Business or Engineering Basic Qualifications: • Experience in Air and Missile Defense, Air Surveillance/Defense, SHORAD, or Early Warning mission areas.• Excellent verbal and written communications skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government.• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.• Ability to understand and interpret customer desires and requirements and relate them back to programmatic requirements.• Ability and willingness to travel (domestic or international) as required to support job requirements.• General Robust understanding of US/foreign DOD budgeting and acquisition processes.• Must be self-motivated and able to operate with minimalguidance and succeed in a highly competitive arena. Assignments are often self-initiated.• Team player - effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objects• Deal closer - highly effective at bringing tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion• Knowledge of potential customers and demonstrated customer relations skills; ability to influence decision makers• Preparation and coordination of key customer - both USG and Foreign National -- intimacy events including trade shows, user conferences and product demonstrations.
