Senior Director, Sales Operations
Given its external and internal vantage point, the Business Intelligence team often has a seat at the table during C-level meetings and is called upon to present guiding insights. When these insights reveal a shortcoming, Analysts are encouraged to take the initiative to drive the necessary changes across the organization.
The work of the Business Intelligence team extends beyond the walls of ChargePoint, as well. Analysts are often utilized as technical experts during pre-sales customer engagements and are the primary stewards of external relationships with market research firms, data vendors, technical consultants, etc.
Oversee ChargePoint’s company-wide Tableau reporting suite. This entails ownership of data sources, dashboard content, site permissions, QA & training processes, etc
Analyze internal Sales & Marketing data for insights into customer acquisition, purchasing trends, customer satisfaction, revenue forecasting, etc
Analyze internal charging station data for insights into driver behavior, station usage, etc
Present key data insights to executive leadership during weekly team meetings, quarterly sales territory reviews, all-company meetings, etc.
Collaborate with multiple technical teams to ensure that business systems (eg Salesforce) and back end systems (eg internal databases) are built to meet business reporting requirements. Special emphasis will be placed on helping to architect a new company-wide data warehouse
Drive automation of manual processes across the Sales team using tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Excel macros, etc
Manage relationships with market research firms/data vendors and distribution of insights to Inside/Outside Sales teams
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3-5 years of experience preferred
Strong quantitative skills and the ability to translate numbers into compelling stories
Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to influence beyond one’s span of control
MS Office, especially Excel, is required
Database languages (SQL, Postgres, etc)
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlikview, etc)
Statistical softwares (R, Python, STATA, SPSS, pandas, MATLAB, etc) is a plus
CRM and ERP systems, especially Salesforce and Netsuite, is a plus
