The Business Analyst is responsible for pricing and price quotes to Canadian customers, pricing analytics as well as rebate program administration. Focus will be on delivering a high level of service, consisting of accurate information provided within set time constraints, to an internal/external customer base. Responsible for sourcing and analysis of data to support decision making, this position leverages strong data extraction and modeling skills to drive monthly reporting deliverables and ad-hoc business analysis. The successful candidate will need to gain an understanding of commodities trading, products and ingredients and their influence on finished product cost, market factors influencing price and the effects of volume, product and customer segment on gross profit. This position allows the individual a broad exposure to a variety of areas and positions the individual for furtherance in a number of areas within Bunge. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position will work closely with Manager Product Management, Pricing and Marketing Canada, Director of Sales, Marketing Manager as well as sales reps, CSRu2019s, Accounting, Customs and Logistics. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical business units and work with senior business stakeholders across the Sales teams to deliver insights with impact. Interactions will include but are not limited to sales, finance, product management and operations Price Quotes u2013 Provide daily quoting based on Chicago Board of Trade and various other commodity pricing. Quotes covers Key Accounts and Bulk Oil customers. Analysis will include; sales by product, customer, channel to identify opportunities for profit maximization, identify trends and gaps. Evaluate and research various data sets to provide deep insights, generate ad hoc and recurring business analysis, based on the needs of the stakeholders. Provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify, develop, and propose new metrics. Creation and maintenance of regular (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) reports as well as develop ad-hoc reports to support strategic planning. Analysis of product costs, identifying opportunities and working with the appropriate associates to improve product economics. Analysis of supply chain costs and working with the team to implement processes to improve costs and revenues associated with product delivery economics SAP Support/Regression testing u2013 Resolving problems with SAP as it related to sales aspects in the production environment. Daily transactional problem resolution, EDI problem resolution. With all new system changes & modifications, testing of new data in SAP which could affect basic transactional data. With each new upload, extensive testing to insure accurate and valid data with no impact on reporting. Rebates and Reporting u2013 Quarterly sales reporting and volume analysis for key accounts and distributors such as Colabor, GFS, Sysco and NBMC. Administer rebate program (average payments of $200,000 monthly). Perform reconciliation and payment of rebates for NBMC and Sysco on a monthly basis as well as special NBMC rebate programs such as Avalanche of Values, Catman, Hot Deals and Power Play. 2 years of analysis, based on large volumes of data, experience analyzing data & communicating the results to business leaders. An analytical mindset and deep analytics experience. BS/BA in an analytical area such as Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or equivalent work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of Commodities markets and edible oils product knowledge an asset. Ability to engage with confidence across multiple levels within the company Ability to work effectively within a collaborative and fast paced team environment Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail Strong financial and data modeling skills Excellent analytical and data management skills, with advanced problem solving skills Experienced user of technologies such as SAP, BW, Microsoft Excel, pivot table and Powerpivot Self starter Creative / solution oriented Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
