Schedulers at this level are expected to fully understand Earned Value concepts and be able to lead cost/schedule integration and ensure all schedules within their work area are consistent with associated budgets and forecasts. Senior Scheduler for large program IMS or coordinator for multiple smaller programs. Provides integrated scheduling from proposal through execution phase of contract. Coordinates with cost team on the integration of resources with schedule for EVMS application. Develops integrated master schedule with program management as required. May prepare and conduct training on planning and scheduling. Analyzes key criteria, coordinates with stakeholders, and defines program structure for small to moderately complex programs. Understands principles and can execute the earned value management system approach and program performance measurement baseline establishment and control. Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of program business schedules to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques. Devises schedules and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines. MELENGQualifications:Basic Qualifications: BS in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, or other related STEM technical field with 9 years minimum relevant experience, 7 years with Master's degree, 4 years with PHD 5 years of Master Planning / Scheduling experience Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Expertise in data analytics Advanced Microsoft Project Knowledge (or similar planning tool) Must have an Active DOD Secret Security Clearance reviewed within the last 5 years Preferred Qualifications: Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience 6 Sigma / Lean professional and/or proven experience Experience with SAP or other shop floor control system Experience using engineering design software such as CPLM, NX, or CATIA Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Tableau Excel Macro/VBA skills are desired Working knowledge of Microsoft Project Server Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis Software Knowledge Experience in manufacturing or operations PMP Certification Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
