Global Trade Business System Analyst
Menomonee Falls, WI
This position is responsible for trade information systems and will be a key resource for the international trade compliance and logistics department while collaborating with Actuant’s corporate IT department and global subsidiaries.
This position maintains and supports the integrity of the cloud based Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) software, Oracle EBS trade compliance data and other related trade compliance software and ERP’s. This person will perform system maintenance tasks, such as user administration and scheduling and testing of upgrades, configure software and resolve functional and technical problems. This person, in collaboration with the IT department, will monitor software licensing against agreements to ensure compliance.
The successful candidate will have strong planning, organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize among multiple projects. This individual must also demonstrate strong initiative, multi-tasking skills, excellent follow-through and the ability to change direction in response to a fluctuating work environment.
The individual will perform system analysis and management of international trade data and compliance related to harmonized tariff schedules, countries of origin, recordkeeping and related trade data requirements. This employee will analyze import and export data and map data within the global trade software system related to duties, tariffs and free trade agreements. This person will be a team member for global expansion of GTM and OTM software and on specific international compliance and logistics projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains and supports the integrity of the Global Trade Management Software, Oracle EBS trade compliance data and other related trade compliance software
Assists with future implementation of logistics and trade systems to internal business units
Test system as well as software upgrades following formal change management process
Configures software and resolves functional and technical problems
Administers users and user profiles including roles and responsibilities within the systems
Manages trade compliance data integrity and security
Communicate requirements and changes with internal business units and external brokers and logistics vendors
Manages import and export data and then maps to business units and their products to provide tools to analyze optimal supply chain costs
Conducts system training for end users
Creates standard trade data reports for Actuant’s upper management and business unit stakeholders
Skills and Competencies
Proven experience as an administrator or business analyst of multi organizational or global enterprise software systems.
Experience with trade compliance, supply chain global logistics in a manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP processes. Good understanding of Order to Ship Process
Experience with cloud-based systems
Familiar with compilers and operating systems, information theory, programming, systems and architecture, software development and testing, web applications and databases, algorithms and data structures, and principles of computer hardware
Familiar with SOAP and REST APIs
Ability to setup and automate queries from various databases
