Under general supervision and with independent judgment, evaluates insurance industry developments to update company products and procedures by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducts product research by:
a. Assisting Product Line Coordinators with analyzing insurance product recommendations by consulting with internal subject matter experts, competitors, industry data, internal reports and other sources, as appropriate.
2. Assists in the development and presentation of product recommendations by:
a. Assisting Product Line Coordinators in developing insurance product proposals by creating charts, exhibits and other materials.
b. Utilizing existing ERAS and Excel report templates to obtain data necessary to support product recommendation.
c. Coordinate and/or participate in meetings to review Product recommendations.
3. Assists in preparation of documents, memos, and exhibits to:
a. Implement changes in manual pages as well as language or provisions of insurance contracts.
b. Create memos and exhibits necessary for the submission of rate, rule and form filings.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires strong analytical skills (Excel, ERAS, etc.) as well as the ability to multi-task. Strong organization skills are a must as well as the ability to work independently.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
