The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will provide operational support and data management capabilities to the Global Data Operations team. You’ll need to have very high attention-to-detail, focusing primarily on the creation and maintenance of this data in Oracle, Salesforce.com (SFDC), and other Red Hat systems. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be expected to contribute to the our team’s business analyst and project management skill sets in order to help solve complex problems and complete improvement activities in a timely manner.Create, modify, and organize product and pricing dataPrioritize and resolve ticketing requests from internal stakeholdersAnalyze and document data flows and processes across various systems and functional teamsAssess and implement improvement procedures for data quality and integrity in Oracle, SFDC, and other Red Hat systemsAnalyze large datasets in order to facilitate decision-making and propose solutionsIdentify and understand the interaction between data and operational processes in order to provide insights for improvement and solutions to complex problemsCommunicate the associated business impacts of process and data changes to stakeholders from across all of Red HatSuccessfully initiate, plan, implement, and close all project deliverables as committedAdvise management on all perceived risks to successful completion of projects and guide decision-making as requiredWork with a diverse group of stakeholders to facilitate resolution of disputes, risks, or critical issuesFacilitate problem-solving between IT leaders and operations leadersBachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, or a related discipline3-5 years of experience working in data or database management, data operations, business systems analysis, or a related fieldExperience managing data within enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management systems; experience with Oracle Advanced Pricing and a company's catalogs of offering and their pricing is a plusProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to specific audiencesAdvanced knowledge of data reporting tools and spreadsheet applicationsAbility to apply project management and business analyst skill sets to solve unique and time-sensitive problemsAbility to understand technology solutions and the interactions of personnel, process, and data within these solutionsExcellent relationship building skills and ability to understand internal customers’ and sales’ experiencesSelf-motivated and deadline drivenHighly organized, meticulous, and able to meet deadlinesAble to work extended hours during predefined periods when additional supportRed Hat is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
