In addition to formal training, on-the-job training occurs as we assign our consultants to projects and devote our Research personnel to research initiatives. Our goal is to continuously broaden and deepen each individual’s knowledge and experience.Primary Responsibilities: In this role, you will be accountable for the development, data integrity, and maintenance of process maps within Benefits Operations, Medicare & Retirement Operational areas. Drive quality and process improvement by ensuring process maps are well documented, accurate, and linked to federal\/sate regulations, Policies, Procedures and Process Instructions within ASK\/Casewise. Serve as a leader \/ mentor on projects for process map creation and updates. Work closely the process modelers, architects, systems analysts, business analysts and other business subject-matter-experts to understand existing business processes. Work closely with teams managing various sources of data such as SPARK, RUDI, Technical Communications, Knowledge Library, mySME and UHC Medicare & Retirement Operations for timely and accurate import\/export of data. Help create business requirements for enhancements needed for system and process functionality Anticipate customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them Solve complex problems and develops innovative approaches Sought out as an expert \/ key resource on complex and \/ or critical issues Provide explanations and information to others on complex issues Perform conceptual analysis on system and process issues when project is under consideration Review the work of others and provides feedback on good performance and for improvement opportunities Motivate and inspires other team membersRequirements: 1 - 3 years of business analysis experience; i.e. creating and documenting current and future states, gathering stakeholder analysis requirements, creating policies and procedures and process maps, documenting process flows and working with policy writers to link documentation responding to a CMS audit, etc. Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Visio; i.e. Word - creating and editing Word documents; Excel - creating spreadsheets, creating macros and pivot tables; Visio - creating process maps and workflow diagrams Excellent verbal and written communication skills; i.e. this person will be constantly communicating with the stakeholder in order to understand and document the processOur performance management system is critical to our professional development activities.
