Job DescriptionPeopleTech is looking for a Program Manager to deliver a suite of products that measure and improve the quality of time and attendance processes and systems used by Amazon's global workforce. What is Time and Attendance all about? We\u2019ve all heard about 24/7/365. That\u2019s 8760 hours in a year. Now multiply that by the hundreds of thousands of hourly workers at Amazon \u2026 those who work in our fulfillment, customer service and data centers; employees in our growing number of Amazon Books bookstores and more. On every continent (well, ok, not Antarctica\u2026 at least, not yet). Factor in the crazy number of different variations of a \u201cwork week,\u201d work day, overtime, and an equally daunting amount of reporting requirements. PeopleTech is looking for a strong Program Manager who will help develop and deliver a complicated portfolio of projects with ambiguous requirements and winning the trust of stakeholders who are never satisfied. Our Program Managers are passionate about launching new products or enhancements to our Time and Attendance systems all over the world in order to remove operational burden off our global employees and empower them to spend more time on the work that will impact Amazon\u2019s customers most. The best candidates will have real-world experience working with and aligning stakeholders at all levels across the company, an understanding of technical engineering concepts, a portfolio of successful project implementations, and an aptitude for high judgement that will guide project management decisions. Responsibilities include owning a portfolio of project implementations and launches, influencing team members, partners and customers to deliver project milestones efficiently and on time, diving deep into large, sometimes ambiguous data sets to guide project decisions, employing crisp and articulate written and verbal communication skills, and establishing and tracking performance metrics. You will have to be an all-around athlete and wear many hats to act as an end-to-end program owner, from collaborating with customers, business analysts and stakeholders for requirements gathering, to working closely with software developers to develop implementation, testing and launch plans. Basic Qualifications

3 years of relevant work experience in a business analyst, program management or project management role.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms
Passion for technology. Demonstrates a curiosity to dive deep into Amazon\u2019s suite of technical products and commitment to learning and expanding technical knowledge.
Comfort with ambiguity. Has the ability to filter through noise to determine a clear direction and solution to customer problems.
Attention to detail. Able to think of all end-user scenarios and translate them into clear and concise business requirements.
Consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data, gleaning meaningful insights from that data, and making confident product decisions as a result.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with management and peers across a variety of organizations and functions, with a specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

4 years of relevant work experience in a business analyst, program management or project management role.
Quantitative background with proven ability to synthesize and make sense out of huge amounts of data
Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an extreme attention to detail
Experience identifying and resolving complex issues, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances - solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
Strong systems knowledge, uses technology to scale programs and improve efficiencies, experience defining technical requirements and working with systems resources
Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative solutions for complex customer problems
Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, experience evaluating tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
