JOB PURPOSE: Support the Supply Chain function through the management of collecting and analyzing data to develop and implement process improvements to achieve operational efficiencies and increased financial performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop and maintain metrics and reports for the Supply Chain group. Develop and manage comprehensive analysis of inventory turns, levels, fill rates, lead times, life cycles, forecasts, and internal customer satisfaction. Review business performance to prepare plans, develop metrics, and recommend new Supply Chain processes. Create supply chain management strategies and implement improvements to streamline process, improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business Manage current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities to ensure completion of customer requirements Ensure correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order\/fulfillment management systems to ensure proper delivery, return and inventory balance management. Serve as a conduit for communication between stakeholders and users for Supply Chain processes, procedures and projects. Understand business priorities, identify strategic initiatives, and deliver on analytical solutions, reporting, system enhancements and process improvements that drive efficiency and effectiveness. Standardize the data collection and reporting processes for the Supply Chain group. Understand and work proficiently with analytical tools and models. Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of interaction with internal and external customers. Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer\u2019s privacy. Maintain regular attendance as required by your position. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of other departments. Support the mission, vision, and values of Midco. Attend cross-departmental meetings to support in the planning and analysis processes Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility. Possess an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach towards work and all work projects. Possess strong problem solving and decision making skills while using good judgment. Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. Identify opportunities for improvement while creating and implementing viable solutions. All employees are required to actively follow Midco policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Data Analytics, or equivalent experience required. Possess knowledge of purchasing and planning processes and procedures in a Supply Chain environment. Previous experience in process\/business analytics preferred. Previous experience in various aspects of Inventory, Purchasing, and Supply Chain. Professional Supply Chain certification from APICS or ISM preferred. Working knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) also preferred. Understanding of principles of accounting and finance. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and\/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
