The pricing and underwriting team is driven by providing pricing and products that meet our customers' needs as well as protecting the financial security of the business for our customers. They're the engine room that drives our insurance business, and we have some opportunities for senior analysts to join our evolving team here in Manchester and build a career with a business which puts people at the heart of its strategy.As a senior pricing analyst with us you'll produce analysis to support the relevant team, which you'll be assigned based on demand at the time, to deliver their objectives. You'll plan and lead assigned pieces of work in a heavily analytically focussed role, whilst spending some of your time dedicated to supervising and mentoring analysts in the team too. What you'll do • Build efficient and well presented data & MI reports on both a periodic and ad hoc basis• Present reports and recommendations to internal colleagues, often at a senior level, and external partners where required• Lead the implementation and testing of new pricing models across all Personal Lines Insurance products• Respond promptly and appropriately to queries from the business• Challenge and drive continuous improvement in processes, procedures and documentation methods• Check, validate and test data including that presented by analysts in the team• Offer guidance and expertise to projects as requiredIn order to be successful with us you'll need to have worked in a similar role before with excellent analytical capability.
