Finance Business Analyst

in our Finance department. This position will be an integral part of the Finance team by providing continuous support for the various business systems in use, while also using strong analysis and technical skills to review processes, data, and software capabilities in order to create innovative solutions to overcome challenges, increase efficiency, and maintain data integrity. This person must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences to evaluate requirements, document workflows, deliver solutions to end users, and provide on-going support and maintenance.
Perform business analysis to understand and document existing systems and processes in order to identify improvement opportunities.
Work with staff to elicit pain points and interpret them into functional business requirements.
Analyze business data to identify scope and impact in order to prioritize appropriately.
Collaborate with other business units to communicate business needs, identify cross-functional impacts, and progress towards agreed upon solutions. Serve as the liaison between end users and technical support teams.
Develop and execute test plans to assist in user acceptance testing and implementation of application enhancements or patches.
Write, maintain, and analyze reports or queries using available reporting tools to monitor data integrity.
Two or more years’ experience in business systems analysis or consulting work.
BA/BS degree in Information Technology,
or related discipline is required.
Experience with integrated accounting software packages, CRM software, payment processing, and/or data warehousing preferred.
Microsoft Dynamics GP, Zuora, SalesForce, CyberSource, SQL, and Prophix a plus.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical skills, problem solving, and ability to multi-task.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Sharepoint, preferred.
