Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
The Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) Sales team at Google is focused on the development of Google customers including both global clients and agencies. The GCAS Go-to-Market team is a critical support team and is responsible for ensuring that the organization has the right strategies and execution plans in place to meet our business objectives.
As an Analyst, you'll provide centralized support across the full GCAS business. You'll provide key management support on scaleable business operations. Areas of focus will include business planning and tracking, quarterly priority setting and tracking through the year, and executive support (e.g. contributing to updates and communications for GCAS leadership).
Sales Operations is the global team that makes sure Google's complex and ever-evolving business runs smoothly. Experts in leading process improvements and consistency, team members are analytical and strategic with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. They develop global initiatives and set high-level goals to improve productivity.
Partner with GCAS teams to build, track and execute on business plans.
Manage executive reporting - create dashboards, manage KPI tracking, identify insights and provide recommendation on how to improve business performance with limited guidance.
Architect analysis to support business decisions as needed. Drive analytical foundation of cross-team strategic workstreams.
Evolve organization design; identify key areas to optimize, recommend changes and implement.
Manage and drive select key business accelerating initiatives as determined by the GCAS leadership group.
BA/BS degree in a quantitative or business-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of relevant work experience. Experience working with SQL and data-queries.
2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in management consulting, investment banking or internet/media.
Experience working with spreadsheet and presentation suites.
Experience operating and working with cross-functional programs.
Effective problem solving and analytical capabilities, with impeccable business judgment.
Interest in the online advertising ecosystem.
