Core responsibilities of this position include creating and maintaining formal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) according to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Corporate Policy, as well as documenting and updating working Instructions and supporting tools. The consultant will execute regular audits to identify process gaps, report results to Management, and suggest improvements or controls.  He/she will also provide process oversight, specifically for change management, coordinating and communicating changes as needed.AccountabilitiesDevelops and maintains procedures and related documentationIdentifies opportunities for improvements to SOPs and contributes to the development of new SOPsCompletes yearly review of all SOPsDemonstrates excellent listening, communication (verbal and written) and meeting facilitation skillsCreates and delivers training, working instructions, tools and other documentation relative to IT processesCoordinates the IT components of internal and external audits as well as federal and state, as necessary, including client-driven auditsRepresents IT Management in client audits and related preparationsConducts periodic reviews of system changes and access, as a control functionReports results of reviews to IT Management, including metrics and trends, and identifies areas for improvementDemonstrates knowledge of core ITIL framework and the application of methodologies within Change ManagementProvides support to technical teams who are scheduling, documenting and implementing changesCreates and maintains deployment calendars for both IT and business use, aligning them with Corporate calendarsMaintains Demand and Resource Management information for 3PL IT Build Team, for financial and scheduling purposesPopulates IT Client Review templates with input from other IT teamsCompletes work independently; receives general guidance on new projectsOwns and drives small internal, process-related projectsActs as a mentor to less experienced colleaguesPosition RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or a related field required4 years’ experience in related field requiredAudit and/or consulting experience highly preferredSelf-starter with excellent documentation skills and strong attention to detailStrong collaboration, multi-tasking, time-management and organization skillsWorks independently, prioritizing work and proactively communicating statusExcellent skills in Microsoft standard desktop applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint requiredProven ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and to focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasksProficiency in Microsoft Visio and Project preferredExcellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to identify problems, gather facts, analyze potential risks and impacts, and choose or propose a solutionAbility to communicate with both technical and non-technical peopleProven ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environmentITIL certification or equivalent is a plusMust have basic understanding of information technology and components (databases, servers, applications, etc.), but is not required to work directly with them in a technical capacity**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
