Responsibilities

The Network Strategy Business Intelligence Analyst will predominately focus on our facility modeling process where they will use claims data to help quantify unit cost changes during contract negotiations. This actionable information will be predominately centered around the negotiation of our facility contracts from a unit cost perspective.

Uses NSA's (Network Strategy Analytics) internal tools, technologies, applications and practices to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information.

Understands NSA's organizational strategy and operating objectives, including our linkages to related areas such as network contracting, market development, pricing and sales.

Presents to leadership and operates at times within a team environment but also independently depending on the initiative.

Presents strategic insights to market and corporate leadership and be a main strategic piece within the contract life cycle process.

Required Qualifications

2 years of experience in data analysis

Understanding of network facility contracting and provider payment methodologies.

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis

Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

1 years of experience in SQL, SAS or other data systems

In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.

Experience with data mining and predictive modeling techniques

Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions

Additional Information

Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings. Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance is required.
