SUMMARY
Global Technical Service. LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Business Analyst in support of the Transformation and Execution Logistics Capability Initiatives (LCI) contract in Beavercreek OH. The United States Air Force is transforming its logistics processes and the information technology (IT) systems which enable those processes. The successful candidate will provide full range of Business Analyst skills, knowledge and experience. This position will work with logistics IT portfolio management teams and logistics subject matter experts to to analyze business needs and problems, and determine and necessary changes to business process and their enabling IT systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the business in defining information/data requirements to allow for the design, development, testing/evaluation, implementation and sustainment of critical business applications and IT capabilities
Uses detailed knowledge of Industry and Governmental best practices with regard to MRO and/or Product Support to identify critical process flows and the data associated with each. Works as part of an agile enterprise team working with stakeholders, including technical management, functional management, project management, and business process SMEs to collect and define the requirements needed to identify, enhance, and modify current Air Force processes and their enabking systems
Understands data within the associated data flows between business processes and activities of a process flow or model. Documents information using tools and reports that show how current and future business needs of an organization are met
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for processes, policies and procedures through statistical analysis
Knowledge of process mapping, business process reengineering and must have the ability to take business processes and requirements and convert them into clear, organized documentation from a user standpoint that is easy for development to understand
Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated. Develop and organize content in support of defining and evaluating courses of alternatives in support of business case and cost analysis.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 7 years related work experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems or related field is preferred
Strong communication, computer and organizational skills are necessary
Demonstrated experience with process mapping, business process reengineering and must have the ability to take business processes and requirements and convert them into clear, organized documentation from a user standpoint that is easy for development to understand
Ability to see the big (enterprise) picture, understand project objectives and be able to apply their understanding of how processes should work to operational improvement initiatives.
Financial background/experience a plus
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment (in person and distributed)
Ability to work in an Agile environment

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
