: The Senior Pricing Analyst will analyze the client’s energy consumption data to determine the products and services offered by NRG Advisory Services that best fit the customer, along with the associated value proposition. Customers will be medium to large Commercial and Industrial segment and will include complex and/or multi-site accounts. Evaluations will include but are not limited to, electricity and natural gas supply purchasing, demand response and other energy market programs, as well as distributed energy resources.
Analyze the client’s energy consumption data for available services
Administer RFPs for energy supply contracts
Create proposals and supporting analysis for presentation to clients
Support sales staff in identifying and evaluating client opportunities, and help to define their value to potential clients
Interface with clients on an as-needed basis throughout the sales process and in post-contract relationship management
Support procurement strategy for Distributed Energy Resource capital projects
Monitor macro and regional trends impacting the North American power market and their impact on customers
Bachelor’s degree in economics, math, statistics, finance, engineering, or another related field of study
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a pricing analyst or in a similar role
Previous experience with electricity and natural gas commodity contracts, demand response programs, ancillary market programs, and distributed energy resources
Previous experience working with both internal stakeholders in a team atmosphere and external clients in a relationship management role
Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must possess an analytical background and problem-solving skills
Must demonstrate an aptitude to learn quickly and be flexible
