Business Systems Analyst Jobs
A business systems analyst job involves analyzing business requirements and processes. For this purpose a business systems analyst uses cases, project definition, requirements analysis, and business process work closely with technical colleagues to produce high-level technical requirements and database. A business system analyst will technically implement functional specifications which include maintaining the documents, creating diagrams/flow charts, mocking up screens. A business systems analyst will also oversee the initiation of projects, defining business and technical scope & project plans. A business systems analyst will act as a communication channel throughout the project life-cycle, contributing to user acceptance testing, training needs analysis, change management, and documentation.
A business systems analyst job requires a bachelors degree in computer science along with 3+ years overall experience in requirements gathering. A business systems analyst should possess basic data gathering ability, use good judgment, and have strong analytical skills. A business system analyst must have good verbal communication skills along with good interpersonal skills.
