Junior-Level Business Analyst Jobs

A junior-level business analyst generally works under the supervision of a senior business analyst and project manager to perform research and analysis and submit recommendations for a variety of solutions.
A junior-level business analyst provides detailed documentation of business requirements for senior management and outside agencies and also undertakes various project management responsibilities. Other important duties of a junior business analyst include analyzing current processes and recommending improvements, prioritizing improvement programs and implementing risk minimization activities, analyzing data quantitatively and qualitatively, conducting data verifications as needed, and providing analytical and reporting support for current programs. They also help to design future programs. Managing budget programs including estimates and ensuring program compliance with corporate policies and regulations may also be part of the job.
To apply for a junior-level business analyst job, a bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field is preferred. Prior business analysis experience is desirable. Other prerequisites of the job are good communication, computer, analytical, presentation, and quantitative skills.
