Business Analysis Consultant Jobs
The business analysis consultant leads assigned projects that are broad in scope or deep in complexity, operating through staff in a project environment; works collaboratively with business resources, IT, and business analysts for the purpose of needs assessment, work direction, and issue resolution. He also analyzes business operations to understand strengths and weaknesses and perceived and unperceived needs. The business analysis consultant consults with key stakeholders in understanding the impact of process or technology changes, evaluating alternatives, and designing solutions. His duties also include overseeing development of requirements, and working with steering committees, business owners, and project teams to prioritize activities and estimate resources. The business analysis consultant should participate in vendor negotiations and contract development. He should use technical concepts and techniques such as business process modeling and context diagrams, and also use cases and state transition diagrams to scope, communicate, and document requirements. The business analysis consultant is also responsible for maintaining awareness of ongoing development and maintenance activities, and working with staff to coordinate the quality assurance phases of test planning, testing, defect resolution, and test tracking.
To get a business analysis consultant job, the candidate should be a Bachelor of Science, business management, and human resources concentration. Senior certificate human resource professional, certificate associate in project management, a bachelor‘s degree in business administration, management information systems, or trade-off in related professional work experience would also suffice. The candidate should have 5 years of recent project-related work experience in project management, business analysis, process design, or technology development.
